I now have the EEs of TTT and RotK

Yes! i have the EEs! i haven't watched them yet, though.

The EE's are done tastefully, thats why they're so good, the scenes they have added in still add to the story line, if not deepen it a bit more.
The picture, the sound and the effects blend right in with, so you cannot tell the difference.
There's too many extended editions of different films, where the extra added film stock either just gets in the way of the story arc or the added footage is not as good as the original footage and stands out like a sore thumb. Lord Of The Rings was done with great care and a passion and it shows on the screen.

After much effort i have finally gotten my mum to watch the movies (extended editions)!!! Well she still has the last disk of the return of the king to go...but I'm just glad she has made it this far!!!!

I actually set aside a day once, and watched the EE from beginning to end, but it was pretty late when I finished

My father and I watch the extended editions over and over again. Every night we try to fit in some LOTR time, hehe. XD
I highly recommend the extend editions if you can get your hands on them. ;]

I don't have EE, cant find it

One three-day weekend, I tried to watch *everything* on the extended edition of the movies. Sometime late Monday, I reached the point when Peter Jackson says, "You know it'll still be here tomorrow; shouldn't you get some sleep?" It seemed like very good advice.

I did that about a week ago, I watched all three extended one disc a night for six nights. I prefer the Extended version because of the things they put in there for the READERS who would know what to look for! I love the goodies!

No, over the week when I can. I'll probably watch TTT on Tuesday and RotK on Thursday or Friday.
