would love to see the funny dialogue between Thorin, Gandalf, and Balin in the "Quest for Erebor" text... where Gandalf explains why Thorin needs a Hobbit on his trip.I hope this scene is somewhere in the beginning of the film.

Like most of you guys I like Riddle in the Darkness.it's the best part of the book.

So I`ll just say this...Wouldn`t it be Great.If Movie Studios actually gave a DAMN! About 642-456 what Fans of Beloved Works of Literature Think.And on their Website asked Fans."What are your Top Ten-"Must Have Scenes" From the Book?Tell us what they are.And we will do our Best...To make sure they make it into the Film..."
Now,if they did this.Wouldn`t their Films make more money.And wouldn`t there P.R.be.Oh, about 10x 642-504 Better.And they would also aquire a Loyal Following.To their Studio.

War mattocks extend two or three metres out with a big spike that is designed to pierce the armour before the defender, with a sword is able to parry. This type of weapon would be used in a frontal assault to quickly take out the first line of orc and goblin defence. It would then be discarded in favour of swords. Picture a line of dwarves piercing the first line of defence and then pouncing on the orcs and goblins with their hand axes and swords.

when gandalf is "good morninged" by bilbo, riddles in the dark, saruman belittling radagast and the white counsel meets, bilbo getting caught thieving from smaug and of course smaug attacking lake town.

Everyone in the barrels floating downriver. Gotta be hilarious. And also Thorin giving bilbo the mithril vest at the end. I hope the show takes advantage of all the foreshadowing that is to take place.

Oh yes, and the elves too! Elves are awesome! ^^

I'm really looking forward to the opening scene with Gandalf and Bilbo. It's one of my favourites in the whole book. ^^

I would like Peter Jackson did a cameo as in his other films. It is a great director. Too bad it does not direct this film. Another thing I like to see is the scene where Bilbo and Gollum share riddles.

Beorn himslef, (and his house) The wood elves and King Thranduil, and I would love to a small cameo by Tom Bombadil because we missed him so much in the LOTR.

I am most looking forward to the part where Beorn and the Beornings join the battle of the 5 armies and strike the pivital blow against the Goblins by killing Bolg, the newly appointed leader, and his body guards.

Everyone (as usual) has mentioned really great scenes. I think beyond that I will look forward to:
Beorn's house. The Halls of Thranduil. Sylvan Elves. Drunk elves. (Well everything, really.) hehe

I can't wait to see two scenes: the attack on Dol Guldur (probably the climax of Movie 1) and the Riddles in the Dark. I can't wait to here "The Seduction of the Ring" music again.

I am looking forward to the spiders, the Battle of Five Armies, The Necromancer, Smaug's attack on the Laketown, Riddles in the Dark, Beorn, AND THE REST OF BOTH MOVIES!!!

The flash backs of Thorins tale of the dwarves life under the Mountain before the coming of Smaug as told at the unexpected party. Including Bearded dwarven women (my fav)Goldsmithying, Men of Dale, trading etc... Gotta be there surely! (Don't call me surely!)
