Silmarillion
as
something
out

Wagner's
Lord
of
the
Ring
opera.
For
instance,
I
envision
the
hosts
of
Illuvatar
looking
something
like
Valkyries
.

an
angellic
host
adorned
in
viking
garb
.

.
with
winged
helms
.
.
.
with
some
possible
Celtic
influences....

I
envision
the
Silmarillion
as
a
CGI
episodic
serial,
similar
to
the
new
Clone
Wars
series
on
The
Cartoon
Network.
That
way,
you
wouldn't
have
to
tie
everything
together.
But
I
would
probably
fit
it
into
a
larger
series
called
The
Tales
of
Middle
Earth,
Produced
by
Peter
Jackson,
and
telling
all
of
the
great
tales
that
Tolkien
wrote
that
don't
necessarily
fit
into
the
silver
screen
format.
