I'm not sure if Stephen Rea fit well in the role of Bilbo. I think it would go better with a player like Martin Freeman, who was one of the candidates as chosen by Guillermo del Toro.... more

What Scenes Are You Most Looking Forward to Seeing?

I would like Peter Jackson did a cameo as in his other films. It is a great director. Too bad it does not direct this film. Another thing I like to see is the scene where Bilbo and Gollum share riddles.... more

Boromir/Aragorn

Of the few differences between Aragorn and Boromir is the strength of the psychological. Aragorn is able to reject the ring even having it within reach, while Boromir is much more impulsive and can not be controlled. Moreover, Boromir is the only thing that tries to please his people, thinking they could use the Ring against Sauron. Both are men of courage and bravery. They are generally quite similar, although the fate of Boromir was less fortunate.... more
